Experience and innovation for your heat transition
Solites is active in all areas of heat supply that cause minimal emissions in the interests of sustainability.
We work together in different teams and enjoy our work – also during our internal knowledge transfer.
We check each other’s results using the dual control principle and only publish when the quality is right.
Much of our everyday work takes place digitally. We make an effort to get to know the built reality (Speicher Meldorf, 2023).
From 2005 to 2025, Solites has continued to evolve.
The team celebrates Solites’ 20th anniversary in 2025.
What we do
We research and advise on innovative and new technologies for which no state of the art exists yet or where it needs to be adapted to new issues.
Our focus lies on large solar thermal systems, shallow geothermal energy, simulation, large heat storages, integrated systems and energy-conscious behaviour.
We are among the know-how leaders in many of these key areas and are constantly striving to develop further. Based on our experience, we advise politicians and decision-makers, develop markets, conduct training courses and tailor our knowledge to specific target groups. We support local authorities, heat suppliers, industrial companies, housing developers, investors, suppliers and other stakeholders, primarily in Germany and Europe, but also worldwide.
How we work
Where we come from
Solites was founded in May 2005 by former employees of the Institute of Thermodynamics and Thermal Engineering at the University of Stuttgart.
Since then, the Solites team has grown steadily and has consistently expanded its specialist leadership in its business areas.
Within the Steinbeis network, Solites consists of two Steinbeis companies:
- As Steinbeis Transfer GmbH, we advise you on your heat transition.
- As Steinbeis Innovation gGmbH, we conduct research in publicly funded research projects.
Here you can find the press release on the 20th anniversary in 2025 (in German language).
Do our topics and values appeal to you?
